Almaguin Celebrates Pride

It’s time to celebrate inclusivity and Pride. The 3rd Annual Pride Party – hosted by the Almaguin Pride Network – happens Saturday August 16th from 7-11pm at the Magnetawan Community Centre.

The evening is a free, all-ages event featuring music, food and live entertainment showcasing our amazing local talent. It includes performers from Muskoka Drag, aerialists, and lots of live music.

“It’s about making sure that people know that they’re welcome and they’re accepted for whoever they are and safe in our space,” says Tara Ratcliff, Co-Founder of the Almaguin Pride Network.

Families, allies and community members are all invited to the 3rd Annual Almaguin Pride Party. Everyone is encouraged to support spaces that are inclusive of all people. Have a listen to our conversation with Tara for more info about this great event and the importance of equality and diversity in the community.
