A northern Ontario doctor has had his medical licence revoked for conduct described as “disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional.”
Patrick Brian Phillips first gained attention in September 2021 when he was barred from issuing exemptions for COVID-19 vaccines, masking requirements and testing.
Phillips, who practised in Englehart, was also prohibited from prescribing ivermectin — an antiparasitic agent that Health Canada says should not be used for treating COVID-19 — as well as fluvoxamine and atorvastatin in connection with the virus. His hospital privileges in Kirkland Lake were suspended earlier this year.
On June 6th, a discipline tribunal ruled that Phillips had engaged in dishonourable conduct, failed to respond to their inquiries and failed to maintain the standard of practice expected by physicians in Ontario. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario also ruled that he provided “misleading, incorrect or inflammatory statements regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and related issues.”
Phillips, who entered a plea of no contest, has been ordered to appear before the panel to be reprimanded and ordered to pay $6,000 in costs by July 6th. On June 7th, Phillips tweeted, “It seems crazy to say, but I’m filled with so much peace, forgiveness and even gratitude for this experience. I hold no ill will toward the college or government. It just felt so good to cut that chain of trying to resist what I used to see as injustice.”
705BLACKFLY.COM has been investigating the accuracy of the information in a newspaper named “Druthers” distributed in the region via Canada Post. One headline stated, “80 Canadian MDS vaxxed and dead”. The accompanying article by Dr. Mark Trozzi read “the extreme body count of men, women, and children who have been injured or died following the forced and misrepresented genetic injections, continues to grow.” Accompanying the article were the photographs of 80 doctors from across Canada.
We confirmed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario that Dr. Trozzi is under investigation for professional misconduct. He will appear before the Tribunal next week.
