Kernazi Charles is described as ‘the nicest guy you’ll ever meet”. He’s a much-loved employee of Kidd’s Home Hardware in Sundridge and is a volunteer firefighter.
On September 11th, Kernazi was involved in a serious accident while driving on Highway 124 and suffered life altering injuries. He has undergone two surgeries and is currently recovering at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
Kernazi and his family need help to cover basic living expenses and the costs for travel, accommodation, and out of pocket medical bills. The team at Kidd’s Home Hardware has organized a fundraiser that is being held on Saturday September 21st. We spoke to Kernazi’s co-worker Meredith Joyce about the event – have a listen to our interview.
You can also make a donation on the family’s Go Fund Me page.
705BLACKFLY.COM wishes Kernazi a speedy recovery.
