Muskoka Author Raising Money For Andy’s House With Children’s Book

In the heart of Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, where the maple trees stand tall and proud, an extraordinary adventure unfolds with a retired salesman named Smitty, his loyal Malshi dog, Bella, and an old but reliable 1952 tractor affectionately known as Cream Puff.

So begins John Graham’s children’s book, “The Adventures of Smitty, Bella, and Cream Puff: Muskoka Maple Season”. During their journey, the trio learns about making maple syrup in Muskoka AND the value of hard work and friendships. The climax of their adventure is a heartwarming community maple festival in Muskoka, where Smitty, Bella, and Cream Puff share their homemade syrup with friends, neighbours, and visitors from afar. It’s a celebration of the joy of sharing with others.

John says the book is a loving tribute to his late father-in-law, his late dog, and the family’s antique tractor. It’s also about his love for Muskoka and its beauty. All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Andy’s House, a hospice in Muskoka that cared for John’s father-in-law before he passed away.
