Sundridge Drug Arrests

Three Sundridge residents are facing numerous drugs and weapons charges after the OPP executed two search warrants at two separate residences in Sundridge.

A news release states that on Tuesday, March 5th, the Almaguin Highlands OPP’s Street Crime Unit detachment, Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team arrested four individuals and located over 100 grams of suspected cocaine, over 1000 tabs of suspected amphetamines, over 140 suspected Percocet, and approximately 5,200 dollars. The street value for the drugs seized was approximately $17,000. Police also located and seized an imitation firearm, shotgun, .22 rifle, and ammunition.

Three Sundridge residents now face multiple charges.

Gregory HALL, 38 years old of Sundridge was charged with:

  •      Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
  •      Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  •      Unauthorized possession of a firearm (two counts)
  •      Possession of schedule I substance for trafficking – Cocaine
  •      Possession of schedule I substance for trafficking – Other drugs (amphetamine)
  •      Possession of schedule I substance for trafficking -Opioid (other than heroin)
  •      Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

James GRAVELLE, 34 years old of Sundridge was charged with:

  •      Possession of a schedule I substance for trafficking – Cocaine (two counts)
  •      possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

Sara SAUNDERS, 28-year-old of Sundridge was charged with:

  •      Possession of a schedule I substance for trafficking – Cocaine (two counts)
  •      possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

As of the time of the news release the suspects remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
