It’s a Muskoka favourite that attracts boat enthusiasts from across Canada. After being cancelled in 2024, the 43rd Vintage Boat Show returns to Gravenhurst on July 12th, 2025.
“We expect that this will be a tremendously well attended year,” show chair Mike Gridley told 705BLACKFLY.COM in an interview. “So, we’ve got a full slate of everything people expect. We expect over a 120 boats on the land and water. We have a new addition to the show this year that’s really going to be exciting.”
If you want more than classic boats and vintage cars are more your speed, the new addition to the event is a classic car show hosted by the Muskoka Motor Club. That show will take place in the sports field. The always popular Nautical Flea Market, Boats4Sale, and Vendors’ Alley will also be returning.
The show always attracts thousands of people to Gravenhurst, but the show was cancelled in 2024 due to the start of a major construction project that impacted access to Bay St./Muskoka Road 169 along with access to Muskoka Wharf.
“Access to Muskoka Wharf was extremely limited so it was impossible for us to operate our boat show there and get crowds in and out,” Mike says.
The Antique and Classic Boat Society – Toronto is working closely with the Town of Gravenhurst to plan the event. The ACBS says they expect attendance to the free show will exceed previous years.
Registration for the 43rd Vintage Boat Show begins in May. For more info head to the ACBS website.
