Santa For Seniors

With the winter holidays fast approaching, the Bracebridge Library hopes to spread a little more holiday cheer by supporting seniors in the community.

The Santa for Seniors program begins with the kickoff to the donation program on November 17th at 10 AM.  The library’s Christmas tree will be decorated with wish lists from seniors in our community. The public can grab a wish list, purchase the items, and then return the wrapped gifts to the Library by Monday, December 19.

Last year the program reached 200 seniors and provided some much-needed holiday cheer. This year the library is partnering with The Pines Long-Term Care Home, James Street Retirement Residence, Castle Peak Muskoka, The Friends charitable organization, The District of Muskoka Housing, and Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare.

The Bracebridge Library is located at 94 Manitoba Street
