It should have been the happiest day of the lives. However, the wedding of Emma Whitmore and Daniel Locke is marred by…murder.
No, this isn’t an OPP news release – it’s the plot for the Bracebridge Library’s Annual Murder Mystery Event.
“This has become the library’s signature event,” says Mathew Reisler, Marketing and Communications Coordinator. “We have been planning for this since last year’s Murder Mystery, so we can’t wait to see patrons try and solve the mystery death that threatens to derail Emma and Daniel’s wedding night.”
Guests will seek clues to find the culprit responsible for murder most foul. The wedding is a black-tie affair and the library will be decorated to fit the theme of a modern wedding, so you can get dolled up in your tux or gown and get into the spirit of the evening. Prefer something more casual? Your jeans are great too!
The “5th annual Murder Mystery: Happily Never After” takes place on Friday, November 6 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. If you want to uncover who committed this dastardly deed, tickets for the event are $30 and are available now at the Coulson Family Bracebridge Library, 34 Salmon Avenue, Bracebridge, or by calling the library at 705-645-4171.
It will be a 19+ licensed event with a cash bar and snacks provided by Lake of Bays Brewing Company.
The game is afoot.
