The town of Bracebridge is positioned on the 45th parallel, halfway between the Equator and the North Pole, and is recognized as Santa’s summer home. In the spirit of giving, a new gift card program to support local businesses is in place just in time for the holiday season.
“Shop the Bridge” is a new community-wide digital gift card program that helps support the growth and development of local businesses. Gift givers can purchase “Shop the Bridge” gift cards that are redeemable at over 35 local shops, services, restaurants, and artisans, with new businesses being added regularly.
“Bracebridge is home to a vibrant and growing business scene that is passionate about serving the community,” says Mayor Rick Maloney. “The Shop the Bridge gift card program helps us uphold our commitment to supporting long-term economic growth and development and helps raise awareness of the amazing businesses we have in our own backyard. No matter what the occasion, the Shop the Bridge program is a great way to give a flexible gift that will be well received and helps support our local economy.”
This innovative program is facilitated by AnyCard to transition the paper-based gift certificate program to an online e-gift card system. The cards are available in select merchant locations, or environmentally-friendly digital e-gift cards can be delivered instantly via text or email, or scheduled for a future occasion. Gift cards can also be bulk-ordered in a variety of denominations up to $250.
