A Sneak Peak At The Burk’s Falls Heritage Festival

Please note that there was an error in our previously published story. The correct date of the Heritage Festival Fesztival is Saturday July 13th. We apologize for the mistake.

If you thought it was great before, wait until you see this year’s Burk’s Falls & District Historical Society’s Heritage Festival. The annual celebration is being held on Saturday July 13th from 11 AM – 4 PM, and the Burk’s Falls Legion will host a pancake breakfast beginning at 8:30 AM.

All of your favourites are back – vendors, games, food, exhibits and music. And what would the Heritage Festival be without the Firefighters Challenge featuring the Southeast Almaguin Fire Department (Burk’s Falls, Kearney, Magnetawan, McMurrich/Monteith and Perry Stations). Plus, there are TONS of exciting new features and attractions including the new shuttle bus! Click here for more info on the bus routes.

For the motorheads, you’ll love the hundreds of vehicles being featured in the spectacular car show. 705BLACKFLY.COM is proud to join Asylum Hotrods as a sponsor. We’ll be giving away a fishing gear gift pack to the owner of our favourite set of wheels. We look forward to seeing you there!

Remember – the Heritage Festival is completely free, so bring the entire family for a great day out. Charlene Watt, Deputy Clerk of Armour Township gave us the inside scoop on what’s happening, so be sure to check out our video! For more info you can also visit the Heritage Festival’s website.
