Santa Claus Charity Ski Show Preview

It’s one of the most popular events in Kearney – The 8th Annual Santa Claus Charity Waterski Show – and it makes its return to Mirror Bay on Saturday November 2nd at 1PM. Canada’s National Waterski Show Team will put on a spectacular one-hour performance. They’ll be joined by Christina Nadalin from Huntsville who recently competed in the 2024 International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation Open, U23, and Junior World Barefoot Water Ski Championships in Florida. Also performing is Muskoka’s Taylor Nullmeyer – a member of the Open Canadian Barefoot Water Ski Team. Of course, Santa and the Grinch are expected to make an appearance! Last year, the Santa Claus Charity Ski Show raised a record $9,000 and 3,500 pounds of food to support the Burk’s Falls and District Food Bank. This year, the Lions Club have made it easier to donate early with a Canada Helps web page. Click HERE to donate. You can also donate via e-Transfer to santaskishow@gmail.com. Food and cash donations are welcome at the event. 705BLACKFLY.COM chatted with event organizer Scott Waites about what to expect at the parade and show. Check out our video!
