OUTLoud North Bay’s 4th Annual Drag Race fundraiser dazzled the community onJune 14, 2025, with a vibrant celebration of inclusivity, resilience, and joy—uniting participants and supporters for an unforgettable Pride Month event.

This year’s highlight was a spirited 5 km race along the scenic Kate Pace Way through Lee Park and back. Participants ran or walked the distance in themed costumes and Pride colors, transforming the trail into a moving rainbow of energy and solidarity. The event drew record-breaking crowds and reaffirmed OUTLoud’s vital presence in the community.
“The 5K brought people of all ages and identities together—it was fun, meaningful, and truly beautiful,” said Seth Compton, Director of OUTLoud North Bay. “It’s events like this that show what our community is capable of when we lead with love.”

The 2025 celebration was made even more memorable by the overwhelming support from the City of North Bay and local businesses, whose generous backing helped bring the event to life. From logistical assistance to generous sponsorships, their continued commitment is a testament to
North Bay’s unwavering dedication to uplifting its 2SLGBTQ+ community.
This year also marked a special milestone—Seth Compton’s 50th birthday.

The evening closed on a high note at the waterfront with a joyful concert featuring acclaimed Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah Smith and a powerhouse performance by German rock band Gracefire, bringing the crowd to its feet and ending the day in true celebration.

Funds raised from the event will go directly toward supporting OUTLoud North Bay’s year-round initiatives, including mental health programming, 2SLGBTQ+ youth drop-in spaces, and educational outreach. OUTLoud would especially like to thank volunteers, sponsors, and the North Bay community for showing up in full color. You are the heart of this celebration.
