The Business Cares program is an integral part of supporting health care in Huntsville. A local business has stepped up with a generous donation to the The Huntsville Hospital Foundation. The Rolston Home Building Centre is renewing their $25,000 pledge for the third time.
“It’s so great to have Rob and Cory Rolston continue their commitment to the Business Cares group of amazing partners. We truly believe in ‘it takes a village’ and our community is the lucky recipient of their generosity, said Katherine Craine, HHF CEO. “Remember to “support those who support us” to demonstrate the mutual caring that our partners prove every day!”
This commitment helps ensure Huntsville Hospital physicians and healthcare teams have the tools they need to provide exceptional care for residents, families and visitors throughout Muskoka. This latest pledge will help purchase equipment like new beds and stretchers, a new CT Scanner, Crash Carts, Operating Room Tables, Cataract Trays, and UKG Software.
Rolston’s Home Building Centre is locally owned and operated by Rob and his son Cory. The Huntsville Store features garden supplies, docks, decks and railings for your home or cottage, and home installs like siding, soffit, fascia, eaves troughs, windows and doors, steel roofing, and garage and shed packages.
Rob and Cory Rolston told the foundation: ‘Supporting Huntsville Hospital is important to us because it directly impacts the health and well-being of our community, our staff, our customers, and our families. Renewing our commitment through the Business Cares program was an easy decision, and we’re proud to continue investing in healthcare close to home.’
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is a multi-site health care organization that provides acute care services at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge.
The Huntsville Hospital Foundation raises funds and inspires donors in support of Huntsville Hospital and healthcare throughout Muskoka. Your Foundation is focused on raising funds in support of everyday needs at Huntsville Hospital, and the Muskoka hospital redevelopment through the Raise Muskoka Campaign.
The Business Cares program has grown into a powerful example of community philanthropy, with 60 local businesses and community leaders coming together to support vital hospital equipment and priority projects. In March alone, Huntsville Hospital’s Emergency Department cared for 1,825 patients, emphasizing the growing demand for local healthcare.
