South River’s Evan Wager and Armour Township’s Tristan McGregor are headed to Oklahoma to represent Canada at The Bass Federation’s 2023 TBF Junior World Championship. The competition takes place July 26th-28th and is being held on Sooner Lake. It includes a two-person team format and three days of competition. Young anglers have to be in 8th grade or younger to qualify.
We first heard about Evan and Tristan on Facebook because their families were looking for corporate sponsors to help fund the trip. We helped spread the word – and what a response from the community! Our thanks to everyone who stepped up to support these great kids.
