A North Bay woman is facing multiple weapons and drug charges after an altercation at an accommodation business in the McIntyre Street West area.
On May 8th at approximately 4:00 p.m., the accused entered the business in the 200 block of McIntyreStreet West and attempted to make a purchase when a verbal altercation occurred between theaccused and the victim, who are not known to each other. The victim subsequently asked the accusedto leave the premises.The accused then allegedly assaulted the victim and brandished a knife.
NBPS Patrol Section attendedthe scene and arrested the accused without incident.

The accused, 37-year-oldAmy Lynn Moore from North Bay has been charged with:

Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Possession Prohibited Weapon

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Trespass to Property Act – Fail to Leave Premises when Directed
Moore was held in custody pending a Show Cause hearing.
